Product Use
When the products are used properly on a baby, the average family will use approximately
$80 worth of product every 8 weeks, or on average, about $40 per month. In ensuring
that the family is using the products properly, you must explain the 1-2-3 System
when you first introduce them to Little Forest. Using the products properly means
that the following regime is followed:

Step 1: Cleanse - They should
bathe the baby about three times per week with the Daily Shampoo and Soap. They
should also use the Daily Soap to cleanse the diaper area during diaper changes
to keep the area as clean as possible to prevent diaper rashes.
Step 2: Moisturize - They
should use the Daily Lotion as needed, but especially after bath time, to moisturize
the skin and keep baby soft.
Step 3: Protect - This is
the most important step. The Daily Barrier Cream and the Daily Powder should be
used at every diaper change to prevent diaper rash. This calls for multiple
applications (at least 5-6) daily.

These estimates are extremely conservative,
but an average baby will go through a bottle of Daily Shampoo ($12.50) and a bar of
Daily Soap ($5.00) in about 8 weeks,
a bottle of Daily Lotion ($12.50) in about 4 weeks,
a jar of Daily Barrier Cream ($11.00) in about 2 weeks,
and a bottle of the Daily Powder
($8.00) in about 4 weeks.
It is important to keep these averages
in mind after you make the initial sale with a family so that you know when to check
in on them to see if they need to reorder. Be proactive and anticipate their needs!
Beyond Baby - Family Use
One of the best features of Little Forest products is that the entire family can
and should use them. Instead of the parents sharing their adult products with their
new babies, encourage them to do just the opposite. Adult products can be too harsh
for a baby's sensitive skin, but anyone can use baby products for a variety of uses.
From athlete's foot to thrush to
dandruff to yeast infections, our Therapeutic Botanicals line is amazing for anyone
looking for an effective, topical treatment. This line works wonders on most anything
that is fungal-related. Of course, be careful to remind your client that Little
Forest Independent Consultants do not give medical advice, and they should
consult their health care providers for professional care.
The Therapeutic line is also fantastic
to promote to the elderly for rashes, bedsores, and other skin problems. As a person's
skin gets older it reverts back to sensitivity of a baby's, so these products are
perfect for the older crowd.
Anyone with sensitive skin or who
is just concerned with what they are putting on their body will love the light fragrance
and silky softness of our Daily Botanicals™ line. These are wonderful products
for anyone who wants to baby themselves.
Sunscreen is one of the most allergenic
products you can put on your skin because of the chemical sunscreens that most products
